Needless to say, using tile as an art medium is considerably more challenging than the standard paint canvas. Creating a connection with the art medium is essential for the artist to fully communicate the art from muse to reality. Tile can be uncooperative at times and presents a challenge. Once conveyed, the final artwork is “etched in stone” to be here on earth for generations after generations to enjoy.
